Stern Trawler lengthening
Vuyk Engineering Rotterdam was contracted by Van der Zwan to support on the engineering of the refit of the SCH6 Alida.
Lengthening
Part of this refit would be the lengthening of the complete vessel with 11.70 meter, to increase storage area and create space for installing new equipment. After a building period of more than a year, at shipyard Reimerswaal at Hansweert, the lengthened Van der Zwan vessel was ready to sail out again.
