Vuyk engineering is looking for a (part-time) legal officer. In this role, you will be responsible for checking contracts for legal risks ensuring that our agreements are secure and protect our interests. During the proposal and contract negotiation process you identify and mitigate risks. You conduct legal negotiations with legal counterparts or lawyers of (future) partners. You will also be drafting and reviewing non-disclosure agreements to safeguard our proprietary information. In addition, you will play a pivotal role in identifying legal gaps in our processes and daily operations, providing solutions that enhance our efficiency and compliance. You directly report to our commercial director and be a key sparring partner for various internal stakeholders, including Operations, HR and our MT.

For this role we’re aiming for someone with at least 5 years of work experience who wants to work in a mid-sized company, which is growing and is developing business abroad in an international setting. You’re someone who communicates easily in both Dutch and English and takes initiatives for improvements. This is a new position, so you have the freedom to make it your own. Freelance (ZZP) is also an option.
